Lead Engineer

To be successful as a Lead Engineer, you should have experience with: - Bachelor's/masters or equivalent degree from a recognized university. - Significant experience in programming in JAVA language. - Experience in using Open Source or 3rd Party Libraries such as Log4j, Hibernate, Liquibase, etc. - Good command of service patterns and protocols covering Web Services, API, REST, RPC. Experience using API test frameworks. - Proficiency with messaging systems covering MQ, Kafka & Mule. - Strong understanding of writing and debugging code. - Good knowledge of Angular/react framework, HTML, and front-end programming principles. - Good unit testing practice. - Strong understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle. - Experience with CI and build tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab. - Ability to manage daily tasks independently. - SCRUM and Kanban agile methodologies experience, incl. tooling Jira or Similar. Accountabilities: - Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensure code scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. - Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality, and knowledge sharing. - Stay informed of industry technology trends, contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster technical excellence and growth. - Adhere to secure coding practices, implement effective unit testing practices for proper code design, readability, and reliability.
