Job Description

Design, implementation, Configuration, and Administration of mission critical Fiber Channel Storage Systems (NetApp, IBM, HP and Brocade storage solutions)
Design, implementation, Configuration, and Administration of integration of storage platforms with Openstack , Openshift , VMware ESXi and cloud based solutions.
Engineer and implement storage solutions (OEM based and open source )
Experience in developing storage practices for on- prem private cloud setup with OpenStack and OpenShift
In-depth knowledge of OpenStack deployment( Cinder,Glance,Nova,Manila,Swift ).
Operationalise industry frameworks in optimising storage solutions with zero touch operations and auto healing
Experience in automating storage services and implementing them effectively

Assist the Systems Architect with the design, implementation and ongoing support of virtualisation /SAN projects data centre operations

Provide expert troubleshooting skills and guidance to Linux/UNIX/Windows administrators.
Create Perl and Bash scripts to automate various storage ad ministration tasks
Work closely with Project management, application development and other infrastructure teams like Network, Security and database teams to develop scalable, maintainable and highly available storage architecture
Work closely with virtualisation team to recommend and implement best practices around storage deployments
Key deliverables are the standardisation of the PRODUCTION & TEST storage infrastructure on NetApp SAN/NAS products and the development of operational processes and procedures to ensure that this equipment performs as expected
Maintain the underlying storage platforms and ensure that they are managed in line with best practice processes that cover monitoring, reporting, performance, capacity, availability and security management, regardless of the platform in use
