About the Job:

As the Lead Embedded Engineer at a dynamic drone technology startup, you will lead and inspire a team of engineers to develop innovative drone systems, hardware, and software solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring that projects are executed on time, meet high-quality standards, and align with business goals. What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years in engineering with 3+ years in a leadership role

• Expertise in UAV/drone tech, embedded systems, and sensor integration

• Passion for innovation and a hands-on approach

• Experience in Agile project management and a startup mindset

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of drone/UAV systems, including flight control, autonomy, and navigation.

• Experience with hardware and software integration, sensor systems, embedded systems, and RF communications.

• Knowledge of regulations and safety standards relevant to drones and unmanned aerial vehicles.

• Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing and inspiring engineering teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

• Project Management: Hands-on experience in Agile project management, with a track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects on time.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, and embedded systems for drones.

• Experience with machine learning and computer vision, particularly in the context of object detection, tracking, or autonomous navigation.

• Knowledge of flight control systems, GPS, IMU, and sensor fusion techniques.
