Lead - DC Innovations

As an experienced professional in the data center industry, you will be responsible for staying updated on new innovative trends in design, engineering, construction, and operations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with designers, vendors, and technology partners to implement these trends in AdaniConnex. - Building a business case around new trends and proposing their use within the company. - Developing prototypes and pilot projects while establishing a vendor echo system. - Defining and executing the innovation roadmap for data center infrastructure and operations. - Evaluating emerging technologies like liquid cooling, AI-based monitoring, modular design, and renewable energy integration. - Leading pilot programs and proof-of-concept deployments for new technologies. - Collaborating with OEMs, startups, and research institutions to bring innovative solutions to production. - Driving initiatives to improve PUE, WUE, and carbon footprint across facilities. - Integrating circular economy principles and green building standards into design and operations. - Working closely with various teams to align innovation with business goals. - Presenting findings and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders. - Representing the company in industry forums, conferences, and technical panels. - Publishing white papers and contributing to standards development. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering; PhD preferred. - 10+ years of experience in data center design, operations, or technology innovation. - Proven track record of leading cross-functional innovation projects. - Strong understanding of thermal systems, power distribution, automation, and AI/ML applications in data centers. - Familiarity with global data center standards (ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, LEED, etc.). Required Certifications: - CDCP / CDCS / ATD - Certified Data Centre Professional / Specialist / Accredited Tier Designer. - LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification. - PMP / PRINCE2 - Project Management certification (preferred). - Technology-specific certifications (e.g., AI/ML, Edge Computing, or Liquid Cooling - preferred). Soft Skills: - Strategic thinking and innovation mindset. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities. - Leadership and mentoring capabilities. - Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments. Please note the additional qualifications required: - Engineering BTech with 12-15 years of experience. - 8-10 years" experience in Design & Engineering of complex MEP systems. - Minimum 3-4 years of experience in design & engineering of Data Centers and Infrastructure management systems.,
