Lead Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy ML/GenAI models for credit, loan origination, and trade sales use cases
• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and Python developers
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams across global locations
• Translate business needs into data-driven, production-ready solutions
• Stay up to date with emerging techniques like RAG, Agentic AI, and LLMOps

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or GenAI
• Strong Python programming skills
• Proficient with tools like PyTorch, Flask/Django, and LLM frameworks
• Experience with productionizing models in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Background in financial services or lending domain is a strong plus
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders
