Job Description

Role & responsibilities Strategy Development: Lead the building of a sustainable new age consumer oriented fashion e-commerce business (D2C & marketplace). Responsible for managing the overall P&L (INR 150 Cr of D2C) channels including marketplaces. Develop business case assessments and cost / benefit analyses for e- commerce spending and initiatives (budget of INR 25-30 Cr). Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth. Website Management : Lead the ongoing setup and operations of a customer friendly/easy to navigate ecommerce portal. Lead the development, launch and scale of DIY initiative in new categories. Ensure a high-quality user experience including site navigation, content development, checkout process and promotional campaigns. Ensure the effective planning and execution of an e-commerce strategy, working cross functionally with sales, marketing, finance, operations and IT teams. Digital Marketing and Acquisition: Manage relationships with multiple vendors across technology development, payments, coordination. Defining / monitoring sales targets / KPIs in collaboration with the top management and heads of other sales channels. Coordinate with operations teams and distribution partners to ensure the AOP is fulfilled as per marketplaces requirement. Customer Experience: Enhance the online customer experience by optimizing the website's navigation, search functionality, and checkout process. Implement personalization strategies to tailor the shopping experience based on customer preferences and behavior. Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and inquiries to address any issues and improve overall satisfaction. Analytics and Reporting: Use web analytics tools to monitor website performance, conversion rates, and customer behavior. Generate regular reports on key metrics, sales performance, customer insights, and other relevant data to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions.
