Lead Construction - Structure

Purpose/Objective

Plan, Coordinate & Execute fabrication & erection jobs for various types of structure within timeline with maintaining quality, safety and industrial benchmarks parameters.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Review & finalize detailed Project Execution Plan & Schedule Planning for Fabrication of various types of steel structure as per provided drawing including detailing of fabrication drawing from basic engineering drawing, fabricate steel structure, plate, duct & stake as per fabrication drawing. Plan and ensure erection of assigned steel structure as per provided drawing, arrange sequence to erect steel structure on site. Ensure steel material as per define codes, ensure welding procedure & weld done as per defined codes. Coordinate with Head Fabrication for readiness of fabrication structure Establish and maintain MIS for Management reporting. Finalize design and review drawing of structures by coordinating with Design team. Coordinating with planning and projects teams for availability of resources at required time such as crane, hydra and other manpower resources To ensure safe work handling and attending scheduled safety instruction. Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis and ensuring top most priority requirements of HSE. Attending contractor review meeting.

Technical Competencies

Technical Knowledge (Welding Codes & Standards, Designing, Quality etc.),Commitment toward safety standards,Customer Relationship Management,Design basis / Engineering Management

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related area, with a Master's degree preferred. Experiences: Minimum experience: 15-20 years in Fabrication Sector. Hands-on experience of handling oil & gas project of same kind. Knowledge of Welding Codes & Procedures for Fabrication Experience in handing Structure Fabrication and Erection Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders (Internal and External) and conducting negotiations with large-scale. high-value vendors Must be proficient in computer usage including MS Office & Power Point.
