Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Procurement & Sourcing

Lead the sourcing and procurement of
plastic molded parts, machined components, and related assemblies
for EV vehicles.
Develop and implement cost-effective sourcing strategies to ensure
on-time, quality, and cost-competitive supplies
.
Identify and qualify new suppliers.
Manage RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract finalization.

2. Supplier Development & Management

Develop a robust supplier base.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve
quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability standards
.

3. Cost Management & Benchmarking

Conduct cost analysis, should-cost modeling, and benchmarking for plastics and machined parts.
Drive
value engineering initiatives
in collaboration with suppliers and internal engineering teams.
Achieve annual cost reduction and productivity improvement targets.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with
R&D, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams
for early supplier involvement in new product development (NPD).
Support design-to-cost initiatives and influence engineering designs for manufacturability.
Ensure suppliers meet compliance requirements.
