Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop should-cost for hardware items (fasteners, pins, circlips, etc.) using volume-based costing.
Negotiate with hardware suppliers for pricing, MOQs, and logistic efficiencies.
Ensure inventory optimization by aligning deliveries with consumption and lead time buffers.
Track MS, SS, alloy steel, and plating chemical prices for commodity-linked settlements.
Implement standardization of hardware specs across platforms to leverage bulk buying.
Support development of vendors closer to plant locations to reduce logistics costs.
