Job Description

Role & responsibilities
: Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage casting suppliers and foundries for cost-effective procurement. • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms while ensuring timely PO placement and delivery follow-ups. • Coordinate closely with foundries to meet production schedules and expedite casting orders. • Conduct regular foundry visits for quality checks, audits, and process improvements. • Ensure casting materials comply with API, ASTM, ISO, and other applicable standards. • Work with QC teams to resolve quality issues and maintain inspection and audit records. • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions for delays or non-conformance. • Optimize procurement costs and maintain proper inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock. • Forecast material requirements in coordination with finance and production teams. • Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and best practices in casting procurement and supply chain management.

Preferred candidate profile

Prior experience in the valve manufacturing or heavy engineering industry.
Knowledge of import/export regulations for raw materials.
