Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct should-be costing for sheet metal parts based on raw material, blank size, operations, and fabrication overheads.
Negotiate part prices with vendors in alignment with cost models and internal benchmarks.
Track vendor tooling and die development and ensure timely sample submission and approvals.
Monitor raw material market (HR/CR sheets) and validate commodity-linked price fluctuations.
Drive VA/VE and weight reduction projects for cost optimization.
Ensure localization and alternative vendor development for capacity balancing and risk mitigation.
