Job Description

Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and execute purchase activities for construction materials, finishing items, and services.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for cost-effective and quality procurement.
Ensure timely availability of materials as per project schedules.
Develop and maintain vendor databases and evaluate vendor performance.
Prepare purchase orders, rate comparisons, and material cost reports.
Coordinate with project, site, and finance teams to align procurement with project budgets and timelines.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards.
Monitor inventory levels and manage logistics for material delivery.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements in the procurement function.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech in Civil / Supply Chain / Material Management or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in purchase/procurement within the
real estate or construction
industry.
Strong knowledge of building materials, MEP items, and vendor markets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/purchase management software.
