About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Associate LCL Exports to join our

cross-border operations team. This role is critical in managing Less than Container Load (LCL)

export shipments, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, freight forwarders,

transporters, and overseas counterparts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipment Coordination: End-to-end handling of LCL export shipments including

booking, cargo readiness tracking, stuffing schedules, and documentation.

• Process Monitoring: Ensure strict adherence to export cut-off timelines (VGM, SI, Port

cut-off, etc.) and maintain shipment lifecycle updates in internal trackers/systems.

• Customer & Vendor Communication: Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters,

customs agents, and overseas offices to ensure smooth cargo movement.

• Documentation Handling: Oversee preparation and sharing of shipping documents like

HBL, MBL, invoices, packing lists, CFS operations including but not limited to the

knowledge of how LCL cargo moves in US and last mile.

• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve operational issues or delays in

coordination with internal stakeholders.

• Reporting & Escalation: Provide daily operational updates, maintain shipment MIS,

and escalate delays or critical shipment exceptions.

• SOP Adherence: Follow internal SOPs and suggest improvements to streamline LCL

export processes.

• Email Communication & Tracker Updates: Maintain structured and timely responses

over emails and update relevant trackers with real-time status.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 24 years of relevant experience in LCL export operations, preferably in a

freight forwarding, shipping, or cross-border logistics company.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Logistics, International Business, or

related field.

• Skills:

Good knowledge of ocean freight processes, INCOTERMS, and export

documentation.

Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.

Willingness to work in night shift and take ownership of assigned accounts or

shipments.
