As a highly accomplished and commercially astute Tax Partner, you will be joining a leading Tax Practice in New Delhi. The ideal candidate for this role will be a dual-qualified professional (Law + Chartered Accountancy) with a proven track record in direct and indirect taxation, tax litigation, advisory, and transaction structuring. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and expand the tax practice in Delhi across both direct and indirect tax matters. - Advise multinational corporations, financial institutions, HNIs, and domestic conglomerates on complex tax structures, cross-border transactions, and regulatory implications. - Represent clients in litigation and appellate proceedings before tax tribunals, High Courts, and the Supreme Court. - Deliver expert opinions on corporate tax, international tax, GST, transfer pricing, and tax treaty interpretations. - Collaborate with other practice groups (M&A, PE, Disputes, Regulatory) on tax structuring and due diligence. - Develop new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the firm's overall strategy and branding. - Mentor and supervise junior partners, associates, and CAs, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. - Stay abreast of legal, regulatory, and industry developments affecting the tax landscape in India and globally. Key Requirements: Educational Qualifications: - LLB/LLM from a reputed Indian or international law school. - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI. Experience: - Minimum 12-15 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed law firm, Big 4, or tax advisory firm. - At least 3-5 years at a Partner or Senior Leadership level in the tax domain. Skills: - Deep expertise in domestic and international taxation, litigation strategy, and advisory. - Strong business development orientation with a robust client network. - Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills. - Proven leadership and team management capabilities. - Ability to manage high-stakes and high-value tax matters independently.,
