Job Summary : Looking candidates who have done 6 months of internship & who have 1 to 2 yrs of experience. As a Laravel Developer , you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using the Laravel framework. You will work closely with front-end developers, project managers, and other team members to build robust applications that meet business requirements. Your expertise in PHP and Laravel will help deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications. Key Responsibilities : Application Development : Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Integrate data storage solutions such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases. Create and optimize complex database queries using Eloquent ORM. Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. Frontend Integration : Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using Laravel's Blade templating engine. Knowledge of frontend frameworks like Vue.js, React, or JavaScript to build interactive UI components. Authentication and Security : Implement user authentication and authorization systems. Ensure web applications are secure, following best practices for data encryption, protection from attacks like SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF. Testing & Debugging : Write unit and feature tests using PHPUnit to ensure the robustness of the application. Use Laravel's built-in debugging tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Collaboration & Communication : Work with cross-functional teams including project managers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure successful delivery of features. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Communicate effectively to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time. Continuous Improvement : Keep up with the latest Laravel and PHP updates and best practices. Continuously improve existing applications and optimize their performance. Contribute to the improvement of development processes and standards within the team. Required Skills and Qualifications : Technical Skills : Proven experience in web development with Laravel . Solid understanding of PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) . Experience with Eloquent ORM , Blade templating engine , and Laravel Artisan CLI . Strong knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL for database management. Experience with RESTful APIs and API authentication mechanisms (e.g., JWT, Passport, Sanctum). Familiarity with JavaScript , Vue.js , React , or similar frontend technologies. Experience with Version Control (Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). Experience with Laravel queues , caching (Redis, Memcached), and job scheduling . Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies. Nice to Have : Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools. Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) processes.
