Job Role - QC L2 Technical Support Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks of laptops to ensure they meet our rigorous standards. Identify and document defects and inconsistencies in performance, design, and functionality.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues in laptops, providing effective solutions that minimize downtime and enhance user satisfaction.
- Repairs and Fixes: Carry out repairs on defective laptops, which includes replacing or fixing damaged components, updating software, and performing tests to ensure the issues are fully resolved.
- Spare Parts Management: Have a deep understanding of laptop spare parts, their compatibility, and management. Advise on the procurement of spare parts and maintain an inventory for quick and efficient repairs.
- Customer Support: Offer L2 technical support to customers, providing clear, concise, and technical guidance to resolve their issues promptly.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of quality checks, issues identified, repairs done, and customer interactions to ensure a transparent and effective workflow.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in laptop technology. Suggest improvements to the QC process and contribute to the enhancement of product quality.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support, specifically in the troubleshooting and repair of laptops.
- Strong knowledge of hardware components, software systems, and operating systems used in laptops.
- Experience in quality control processes and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in managing spare parts inventory.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information in an understandable manner.
- A relevant technical degree or certification is preferred.
