Job Title: Land Head / Land Manager- Wind Energy- MNC

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Land Head / Land Manager to lead and manage end-to-end land acquisition and procurement activities for wind energy projects in Rajasthan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, timely availability of land, smooth project execution, and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, government departments, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end land acquisition and procurement processes for wind project sites.
• Conduct due diligence and ensure land acquisition for point land and pathways as per contract and internal norms (Cost, AEP, 33kV line loss, and location shifting).
• Acquire and develop land and approach roads for CMS buildings, Met masts, OMS stores, substations, and storage yards.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance for all land acquisition and related permissions. Liaise effectively with government bodies, local authorities, and gram panchayats.
• Obtain necessary permissions from MoD, Mining, Forest, and State Development Authorities.
• Coordinate legal due diligence, documentation, and clearance through customers third-party legal consultants.
• Manage vendor advances, taxation, and commercial compliance associated with land acquisition.
• Ensure timely execution of Mutation / Lease / Sale Deeds and compliance with customer contractual requirements.
• Maintain digital records and proper documentation of all acquired land parcels.
• Monitor and control land acquisition budgets and facilitate liquidation of unused land to maintain cash flow.
• Ensure timely HOTO (Hand Over Take Over) of land to Customer and OMS teams.
• Proactively identify, register, and resolve Right of Way (ROW) and other local issues.
• Build, motivate, and support the field team to ensure efficient land acquisition and project execution.
• Manage vendors and prepare periodic MIS and review reports.
