Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end land documentation for renewable energy (solar and wind) projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state regulations.
• Conduct thorough title verification, mutation, conversion, and legal due diligence of land parcels.
• Coordinate with landowners, revenue authorities, lawyers, and internal teams to procure and validate land records, agreements, and other supporting documents.
• Draft, review, and register key land documents including sale deeds, lease deeds, Power of Attorneys (POA), and agreements related to land acquisition.
• Liaise with government departments (e.g., Revenue, Registration, Panchayat, Forest Department) for approvals, land conversions, and clearances as required for project development.
• Maintain and manage a repository of all land documents, reports, and trackers in a structured and secure manner.
• Identify risks related to land acquisition and documentation and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support internal legal and project development teams with data, documents, and compliance for audits, regulatory inspections, and approvals.
• Handle landowner relationships professionally to ensure smooth execution of documentation-related activities.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes impacting land acquisition and documentation in Chhattisgarh.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Law, Commerce, or a related field.
• 10 15 years of experience in land documentation, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, or real estate sectors.
• In-depth understanding of land laws, land acquisition processes, and documentation practices in Chhattisgarh.
• Strong knowledge of revenue records, title due diligence, land conversion, and registration procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation management skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to different project locations within Chhattisgarh.
• Fluency in Hindi; knowledge of local dialects is an advantage.
