Laboratory Operations Manager

As the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing the highest standard of professional, scientific, consultative, and advisory services related to the Laboratory's operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining overall responsibility for the operation and administration of the laboratory. Key Responsibilities: - Provide effective leadership for the medical laboratory service, including budget planning, financial management, and manpower planning & management. - Establish and maintain effective relationships with accrediting and regulating agencies, administrative officials, patient population served, and providers of formal agreements. - Develop and implement contingency plans to ensure essential services are available during emergency situations or limited/unavailable laboratory services. - Define, implement, and monitor standards of performance and quality improvement for medical laboratory services. Qualifications, Experience, and Attributes: - M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or related discipline; additional certification in NABL Quality Management is preferred. - 8-12 years of experience in hospital laboratory operations, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. - Sound knowledge of NABL standards, LIS/HIS systems, and laboratory automation. - Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary lab teams, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely reporting. - Strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills with a focus on patient safety and service excellence. - Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual with good communication and problem-solving abilities.,
