Laboratory Assistant

At Farm93, we’re building India’s first integrated microgreens and functional mushroom brand, rooted in science, Ayurveda, and clean-label innovation.

Our in-house lab is where research turns into reality - blending biotechnology, nutrition, and sustainability.

Role: Lab Assistant

Location: Bhopal

Minimum 1 year in a laboratory setup (preferably food biotech, microbiology, or plant sciences)

Full-time, on-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain key lab instruments: Laminar Flow Hood, 100L Autoclave, Centrifuge, and other equipment/glassware.
• Maintain strict lab hygiene and SOP compliance - non-negotiable at all times.
• Prepare media, cultures, and samples for ongoing R&D projects.
• Record sterilization logs, consumable use, and experiment data accurately.
• Assist in trials, formulation work, and quality testing related to microgreens and mushrooms.
• Support R&D leads in developing and scaling new formulations.

We’re Looking For:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related Life Sciences.
• At least 1 year of hands-on lab experience.
• Disciplined, detail-oriented, and methodical — lab hygiene and precision are a must.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques, sterilization, and basic analytical instruments.
• A curious mindset and passion for functional nutrition or food biotech.
