Lab Technician

• Maintain the R&D lab in an organized, safe, and functional state.
• Operate and handle

  basic electrical and mechanical testing equipment

  (e.g., multimeters, power supplies, soldering stations, drills, measurement tools, small machines).
• Assist in

  electro-mechanical prototyping

  – cutting, assembling, wiring, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain and regularly update

  inventory records

• Tool registers
• Ensure availability of prototyping materials, spare parts, and consumables.
• Prepare test setups, assist in product testing, and document results.
• Support engineers/designers during

  prototype fabrication and product trials

• Perform basic maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during prototyping and testing.

• Diploma / ITI / B.Sc. in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in lab/workshop/prototyping environment.
• Hands-on skills with

  mechanical tools

  (cutters, drills, grinders, fastening tools, etc.) and

  basic electrical tools

  (soldering, wiring, testing instruments).
• Basic knowledge of

  electro-mechanical systems

  (motors, gears, switches, sensors).
• Strong

  organizational and documentation skills

  (spares, consumables, reports).
• Practical, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

• Prior experience in

  toy, consumer products, or small electro-mechanical assemblies

  .
• Familiarity with prototyping processes like 3D printing, basic machining, or PCB assembly.
• Understanding of lab/workshop safety practices.
