Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in clinical laboratory operations with strong technical and leadership background

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology) – Mandatory
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory
• In-depth knowledge of Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Clinical Pathology
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Familiarity with NABL documentation, audits, and laboratory accreditation processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily laboratory operations including sample collection, testing, reporting, and equipment handling.
• Ensure strict adherence to NABL/NABH standards and hospital quality protocols.
• Manage and lead a team of laboratory technologists, technicians, and phlebotomists.
• Review and validate test results; ensure accuracy and timely delivery of reports.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, calibration, and functioning of all lab equipment.
• Ensure stock management of reagents, chemicals, and consumables; monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain proper documentation, records, and compliance reports for audits and inspections.
• Implement and monitor internal and external quality control programs.
• Train new and existing lab staff in procedures, safety protocols, and latest techniques.
• Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff for special investigations and urgent samples.
• Maintain cleanliness, biosafety, and waste disposal as per biomedical waste management rules
