Role Description

Lab Director (MD – Pathology)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day functions of the lab, particularly in

  Biochemistry, Hematology, and Serology

  .
• Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely reporting of laboratory tests.
• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate with laboratory staff including pathologists, technicians, and support teams.
• Interpret complex test results and consult with clinicians to aid in diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Oversee compliance with

  NABL

  ,

  CAP

  , and other relevant quality and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvements in lab efficiency, safety, and diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain and update SOPs, ensure biosafety protocols, and participate in internal and external audits.
• Contribute to the adoption of new diagnostic technologies and digital systems (e.g., LIS).

Required Qualifications:

• MD in Pathology

  from a recognized university.
• Completion of

  Senior Residency

  from a reputed medical institution.
