Lab Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lab / Executive Research Assistant with strong expertise in materials chemistry (organic/inorganic) and e-waste procurement. The person will oversee procuring recyclable e-waste materials, manage data relating to procurement and materials output, and lead efforts in chemical formulation & metal recovery (including precious metals like gold, silver, white gold) from e-waste components (e.g., RAM, motherboards, hard drives, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:-

• Oversee end-to-end procurement of recyclable e-waste: sourcing, qualification, negotiation, acquisition.
• Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers of e-waste (electronic waste) and recyclable materials.
• Develop and implement Sourcing / Procurement strategies specifically for e-waste streams.
• Perform sample analysis of e-waste components to assess content of metals (precious and base), organics, inorganics.
• Design, optimize, and execute chemical formulations / processes for separation and recovery of metals (precious metals like gold, silver, white gold; base metals; etc.) from electronic waste materials.
• Monitor, record, analyze output data: yield of metal recovery, purity, chemical usage, losses, cost metrics.
• Ensure quality control of recovered materials: testing, verification, documentation as per standards.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure safe handling of hazardous substances, proper chemical waste disposal, compliance with safety / environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, protocols, procurement records, and lab results.
• Collaborate closely with R&D / Process Engineering / Metallurgy / Operations teams to scale lab findings into scalable processes.
• Report regularly to management on procurement efficiency, recovery yields, cost savings, process improvements.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
