Job Summary

SAP HANA L1/L2 Support Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for SAP HANA across multiple modules including:
• ERP General Ledger (GL)
• SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) / CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
• Financial Posting (FI)
• ERP Purchasing (MM)
• SAP ONB (Onboarding)
• HCM (Human Capital Management)
• Accounts Receivable (AR) / Accounts Payable (AP)
• SAP Upgrade Support
• Monitor, triage, and resolve support tickets, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Perform basic configuration changes and assist in issue diagnosis.
• Utilize SAP OSS for researching issues, raising incidents, applying SAP Notes, and coordinating with SAP support.
• Support periodic system upgrades and patch activities.
• Work closely with business users and functional teams to resolve end-user issues.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L3 or development teams.
• Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Provide root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA support (L1/L2) roles.
• Strong understanding and operational experience in at least 4–5 SAP modules listed above.
• Solid experience using SAP OSS – raising incidents, downloading SAP Notes, applying recommended fixes.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP/CPI integration flows and error monitoring.
• Exposure to SAP financial posting processes, purchasing cycle, and employee lifecycle from ONB to HCM.
• Good knowledge of SAP system upgrade procedures and impact analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in Night shifts - 5:30pm to 2:30 am or 6:30pm to 3:30am
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certification in any of the modules mentioned is a plus.
• Experience Ticketing tool like ITSM, desired is SAP OSS
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori or SAP GUI scripting is a bonus.
