* Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers
* Assign daily workstations and manage staff breaks and schedules
* Oversee all food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery
* Assist with menu planning and portion control
* Inventory & Cost Control
* Organise and monitor inventory, storage, and distribution of food supplies
* Order supplies and manage stock rotation to minimise waste
* Control food costs by tracking usage and conducting regular inventory counts
* Health & Safety Compliance
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation
* Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and sanitation standards
* Complete and monitor Kitchen Logs, cleaning checklists, and adhere to HACCP practices
* Address and communicate any food hazards or contamination risks
* Collaborate with front-of-house and management to ensure smooth service
* Maintain Mess Monitoring Report
* Collect daily attendance to ensure the right quantity of food is prepared
* Collect Feedback from Sr. Staff and students to make sure the quality is maintained.
