Kitchen Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Supervisor to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food production and hospitality. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, ensure food quality, and maintain inventory control while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise kitchen staff in daily operations to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
• Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently.
• Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Address any kitchen-related issues or concerns promptly to maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Supervisor, minimum class XII passed, with preferably a degree or diploma on F&B production, at least 1 to 5 year experience working in a reputed hotel in the kitchen. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices in kitchen management.
• Proficient in food production techniques, food preparation methods, and safe food handling practices.
• Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and guests effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.

Salary 15-18K with PF & ESIC.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
