Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for directing and assisting Stewards to ensure efficient clean-up, maintaining appropriate water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning, assisting with Banquet plate-ups, supporting kitchen staff with various tasks, providing needed items to cooks, and transporting and stocking banquet and buffet items. Additionally, you will operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools. Key Responsibilities: - Direct and assist Stewards in clean-up activities - Maintain proper water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning - Assist with Banquet plate-ups - Support kitchen staff with various tasks - Provide cooks with necessary items - Transport and ensure adequate stock for banquet and buffet - Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools - Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees Qualifications Required: - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience - Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience Company Additional Information: At Westin, the brand mission is to empower guests to enhance their well-being while traveling.
