WordPress Developer

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
• Customize themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Optimize website performance and ensure mobile friendliness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to enhance user experience.
• Ensure security best practices are applied to WordPress sites.
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs as needed.
• Monitor the servers and websites including backups and regularly update WordPress core, themes, plugins, and PHP to ensure the site is running the latest, most secure, and stable versions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a

  WordPress Developer

  or similar role.
• Strong understanding of

  PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL

  .
• Experience with theme and plugin development/customization.
• Familiarity with

  Elementor, or other page builders

  .
• Knowledge of

  REST API

  and integrating third-party services.
• Understanding of

  SEO principles and website optimization

  .
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  TutorLMS

  .
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of headless WordPress and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, Cloud, VPS, etc.).
• Experience with website migration and deployment.
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices.
