YourStory is looking for an experienced and passionate Junior Video Producer to join our dynamic video team. This role offers a unique opportunity to create impactful, high-quality content for both Brand Solutions and Editorial verticals, including documentaries, interviews, branded videos, and social media campaigns. If you thrive in a fast-paced, storytelling-driven environment and have a strong eye for detail and design, we’d love to hear from you. Role Overview You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production of video content—from ideation and scripting to shooting, editing supervision, and final delivery. You’ll collaborate with the Creative Strategist, brand clients, editorial team, and sales stakeholders to produce compelling content that meets both creative and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Produce high-impact video content for YouTube, Instagram, and other digital platforms, Including ○ Brand interviews ○ Case studies/Testimonials ○ Corporate films ○ Promotional videos and ads ○ Event coverage and highlights Conceptualize and execute projects including scripting, storyboarding, budgeting, resource planning, and timeline management. Plan and manage video shoots: scout and secure locations, coordinate logistics, and act as on-location producer. Work closely with editors to manage post-production and ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with design and video leads on style frames, visual direction, and branded series. Engage with clients throughout the production process, managing feedback, revisions, and creative alignment. Communicate clearly and confidently with internal and external stakeholders, offering creative solutions when needed. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering content on schedule and within budget. (Bonus) Anchor interviews or moderate video panel discussions when required. Partner with the sales team to develop pitch documents and propose video content ideas to clients. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of video production experience. Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or other professional editing tools. Strong scriptwriting skills for various video formats including promos, documentaries, and branded content. A keen eye for design, layout, and storytelling detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is essential. Proven ability to perform under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Deep understanding of the video production lifecycle and social media video best practices.
