Junior Support Engineer

Role Overview: As a Jr. Support Engineer at RWS Technology Services India, you will be responsible for providing 24x7x365 monitoring support to the client infrastructure globally. Your main tasks will include responding quickly and effectively to alerts and notifications, ensuring high levels of systems and infrastructure availability, identifying and resolving technical problems, monitoring and tracking raised issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet service level agreements. Key Responsibilities: - Providing 24x7x365 L1 support (night shift) to monitor the infrastructure. - Responding quickly and effectively to alerts and notifications from various systems. - Proactively ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. - Identifying, investigating, resolving, and escalating technical problems as per established guidelines. - Monitoring and tracking raised issues to ensure timely resolution. - Working collaboratively with the team to meet service level agreements (SLAs). - Collaborating with different stakeholders to resolve reported issues. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 0-1 year of experience in a similar role. - Understanding of cloud technologies, with preference for AWS. - Good knowledge of ticketing tools. - Experience with monitoring tools will be an advantage. - Proficiency in documentation. - Ability to work effectively in a 24x7x365 environment, both independently and as part of a team. - Strong command over the English language. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Good organizational skills.
