The Project Cafe, Ahmedabad, is a gourmet cafe within a functioning art gallery, aiming to connect the community with creative professionals from diverse disciplines. Our Experiential Retail and Hospitality concept integrates curated art and design into the property's interior, allowing visitors to engage with art in context. Over three years, we have collaborated with more than 200 artists, designers, and performers, creating a dynamic and evolving space for human experience.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Junior Sous Chef. The Junior Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef with daily kitchen activities including overseeing staff, ensuring food quality and consistency, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Additional responsibilities include menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management. The Junior Sous Chef will also play a key role in training and mentoring kitchen staff.

• Exceptional culinary skills and experience in food preparation and menu planning
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, safety, and sanitation standards
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Creativity and a passion for culinary arts
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant culinary education or certification is advantageous
• Experience in a similar role is preferred
