Roles And Responsibilities

• Assist the Scrum Master or Agile Coach in facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with Product Owners and development teams to ensure clear understanding of user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.
• Monitor and track team progress using JIRA, ensuring updates to the board and burndown charts are accurate and timely.
• Identify impediments, blockers, or risks affecting sprint delivery and escalate them appropriately.
• Support the team in applying Scrum and Kanban practices to improve productivity and product delivery.
• Promote Agile values and principles within the team; help maintain discipline in following the agreed processes.
• Assist in backlog grooming sessions and ensure that the backlog is properly prioritized and maintained.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Developers, Product Owners) to ensure continuous delivery.
• Help gather Agile metrics like velocity, team performance, and retrospection feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with Agile methodologies, tools (JIRA/Confluence), and participate in Agile community discussions and improvements.
• Document sprint results, team feedback, and improvement plans for process optimization.
• Provide support in creating training materials and onboarding new team members on Agile processes.
  

Key Skills Required

• Solid understanding of Scrum fundamentals and Agile Manifesto principles.
• Working knowledge of Kanban workflows and how they integrate into Agile processes.
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence (dashboards, sprint boards, backlog management).
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Certification in Scrum (CSM or PSM I) is a plus.
