Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Scientist located in Surat. The Junior Scientist will conduct research and development to enhance the production of plant-based leather alternative. Key responsibilities include laboratory experiments, data analysis, and collaboration with the production team to optimize eco-friendly manufacturing processes. Additional tasks involve exploring new biodegradable materials, maintaining detailed records, and preparing technical reports to support ongoing innovation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Chemistry, Material Science, or Bioengineering principles
• Skills in laboratory experiments, data analysis, and technical reporting
• Experience with sustainable materials, bioplastics, or plant-based polymers
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with attention to detail
• Proficiency in using lab equipment and safety protocols
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or any relevant science field
