Role Overview: As a Junior Project Manager for Bench Resource Management, your primary objective is to efficiently manage bench resources and ensure swift project allocation. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Information Technology, you will play a crucial role in optimizing resources, meeting client demands, and aligning with the company's business goals. Your focus will be on driving efficiency, delivering results promptly, and providing detailed reports on resource management and project deployment. Key Responsibilities: - **Bench Resource Optimization:** Take charge of managing bench resources to ensure efficient assignment to active projects, emphasizing quick action and tangible results. - **Client Project Allocation:** Collaborate closely with sales, recruitment, and client teams to swiftly allocate resources to suitable client projects, ensuring precise staff augmentation that meets client needs and facilitates rapid onboarding. - **Project Health & Rollovers:** Monitor client project health to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Drive project extensions or rollovers to maintain resource engagement and maximize utilization. - **Alignment with Business Goals:** Make decisions considering the company's overarching objectives, with a focus on revenue growth, resource utilization efficiency, and exceeding client expectations. - **Project Reports:** Generate detailed, real-time reports on client project allocation, health, and opportunities for extensions or rollovers. Provide senior management with comprehensive insights into resource deployment and project outcomes. - **Performance Reporting to VP of IT:** Deliver highly detailed reports to the Vice President of Information Technology covering all aspects of bench management, project allocation, and staff augmentation, meeting the expectation for clarity and comprehensive insights. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, or related fields. - 1-3 years of experience in project or resource management, particularly in staff augmentation. - Proven ability to manage resources effectively under high pressure and tight deadlines. - Superior communication and analytical skills, focusing on delivering detailed, actionable reports. - Results-oriented problem-solver with a passion for maximizing resource efficiency and driving project success.
