Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Production Engineer to support production operations, vendor development, quality control, and testing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding, hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments, and the ability to interpret fabrication drawings. Basic knowledge of welding and electrical systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor & Material Coordination

• Support vendor development activities and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Verify that all incoming materials meet required quality and technical standards.

Quality Control & Inspection

• Perform quality checks on bought-out items and machined components, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct in-process inspections to maintain consistent quality throughout the production cycle and prevent defects.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators for accurate inspection.

Technical Knowledge & Evaluation

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings with clear understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and fitment.
• Possess basic knowledge of welding processes (GTAW, SMAW) to evaluate weld quality.
• Assist in testing and functional verification of blowers, heaters, motors, and other components before dispatch.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed production, inspection, and testing reports for each machine.
• Ensure accurate documentation of performance parameters, test results, and compliance records.

Additional Skills

• Basic electrical knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
• Should be currently residing in Navi Mumbai / Thane / Mumbai Region
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and measurement tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• 1-2 Years relevant work experience will be preferred
