Junior Presales Engineer – BMS / HVAC Automation

Reports To: Solution Specialist

We are looking for a Junior Presales Engineer who will support the sales and technical teams in designing, preparing, and presenting automation solutions for HVAC and building management applications. The role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology, energy efficiency, and smart building solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support & Design

• Assist in understanding client requirements and designing HVAC/BMS automation solutions.
• Support preparation of system architecture, control logic, and equipment selection (sensors, actuators, diffusers, controllers, etc.).
• Prepare technical documentation such as BOQs, datasheets, and compliance statements.

• Presales Activities

• Prepare and support the submission of technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to finalize solution configurations.
• Create and deliver basic technical presentations or demos to clients.
• Assist in responding to RFPs/RFQs and technical clarifications.

• Coordination & Learning

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover from presales to project execution.
• Stay updated on ZedBee products, IoT trends, and HVAC/BMS technologies.
• Participate in product and technical training sessions to build domain expertise.

Qualifications:

• Education:

   B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related discipline.

• Experience:

   0–2 years of experience in Presales, Application Engineering, or HVAC/BMS project support (freshers with strong fundamentals may also apply).

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, control components, and automation principles.
• Familiarity with IoT, wireless communication, or building automation concepts is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Quick learner with a proactive and collaborative approach.
