Junior Market Research Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Market Research Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for an emerging professional who possesses a foundational technical understanding and a strong desire to explore the intersection of technology trends, market dynamics, and business strategy. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting our senior teams by gathering, synthesizing, and reporting market data to inform our technology and digital consulting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Market Research: Conduct foundational research on technology and digital service markets, including industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer behavior.
- Data Gathering and Synthesis: Collect and organize data from various primary and secondary sources (e.g., research databases, industry reports, competitor websites, technical forums).
- Support Insight Generation: Work alongside Business Analysts and Product teams to translate raw data and observations into preliminary market insights and opportunities.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed research summaries, data visualizations, and supporting documentation for internal reports and presentations.
- Trend Monitoring: Track and report on emerging software development trends, digital transformation initiatives, and new technologies relevant to our business strategy.
- Data Tool Utilization: Maintain and update market data using proficiency tools like Excel and other internal dashboards.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a research, analysis, or technology-focused role (internships and academic projects count).
- Analytical Skills: Foundational analytical and critical thinking skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Technical Aptitude: A keen interest in and basic understanding of the technology landscape, software, and digital services.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity or proficiency with data management tools such as Microsoft Excel (required) and an aptitude for learning visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings clearly.
