Junior Designer – Experiential & Retail Environments

Location: Mumbai, India

Experience Level: Entry-Level (Recent Graduate)

We’re on the hunt for a highly creative and driven Junior Designer to join our team in shaping exciting mall activations, pop-up experiences, brand installations and immersive retail environments. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for storytelling through space, form and visuals. You'll work closely with senior designers, marketers and production teams to help bring large-scale experiential ideas to life.

What You'll Do

* Support the design team in developing concepts for brand activations, mall experiences and temporary retail installations.

* Assist in researching design trends, materials and technologies that elevate brand storytelling in physical spaces.

* Contribute to the design process - from brainstorming and sketching to 2D and 3D mock-ups and presentations.

* Prepare visual presentations, mood boards and digital assets under the guidance of senior team members.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, production, client servicing) to support design goals and timelines.

* Learn about materials, fabrication techniques and the logistics of producing large-scale installations.

What We’re Looking For

* A degree in Design, Architecture, Spatial Design or a related creative field.

* A strong student or freelance portfolio that demonstrates creative thinking and design fundamentals.

* Curiosity about spatial storytelling, visual merchandising and immersive experiences.

* Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, 3ds Max, AutoCAD or similar 3D tools.

* Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

* A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn from mentors and real world projects.

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

* Internship or academic project experience in experiential design, retail or branded environments.

* Familiarity with sustainability in design or interest in material innovation.

* Awareness of global and local design trends
