About Rugged Monitoring


Rugged Monitoring is a global leader in condition monitoring and digitalization solutions for electrical infrastructure, including power utilities, renewable energy, oil & gas, data centers, and mission-critical industries. We develop advanced monitoring systems that enable safer, smarter, and more resilient electrical assets. 


We are expanding our Digital Marketing team and looking for a Junior Content Writer who is eager to grow, learn, and contribute to high-impact content initiatives that support our brand and customers worldwide. 


Role Overview


As a Junior Content Writer at Rugged Monitoring, you will play a key role in developing content that supports product awareness, marketing initiatives, customer engagement, and thought leadership. 

This role requires someone who enjoys researching complex topics and translating them into clear, digestible, and value-driven content. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Write and edit content across formats: brochure, case studies, website, marketing materials, and other SEO-based content. 
  • Support documentation content needs such as manuals, user guides, and workflows where required. 
  • Research deeply technical topics and simplify them without compromising accuracy. 
  • Review, refine, and fact-check content for consistency, accuracy, and tone alignment. 
  • Optimize content based on SEO strategies, keyword plans, and content performance insights. 
  • Assist in proofreading and quality assurance to ensure content meets brand, technical, and linguistic standards. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, engineering, and sales teams to gather insights and technical clarity. 
  • Identify content gaps and suggest improvements proactively. 


Qualifications & Skills

Required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Communications, English, or related field

    (technical background preferred

    ). 
  • 1–2 years of experience in Content Writing, Copywriting, or Technical Writing in a B2B environment. 
  • Demonstrated experience producing technical or niche industry content. 
  • Strong written communication skills with a high level of grammar, structure, and clarity. 
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies and deep-tech topics. 
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools  
  • High attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities. 
  • Experience with documentation/workflow tools (SharePoint, Notion, Office Suite, Canva, Adobe, etc.) 


Preferred


  • Certification in Content Writing, Copywriting, Technical Writing, or English Language. 
  • Exposure to the electrical industry- infrastructure, energy systems, or industrial/OEM domain.
