Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in routine

  chemical and physical testing of edible oils

  , including:

1.Free Fatty Acid (FFA)

2.Peroxide Value (PV)

3.Moisture & Volatile Matter (MIV)

4.Colour, Soap Content, etc.

• Support in

  packaging material inspection

  , including polyfilms, BOPP tapes, cartons, etc.
• Perform

  basic testing of water, chemicals, and other incoming materials

  (e.g. coal, process chemicals) as per SOPs.
• Maintain proper

  documentation and records

  of test results in logbooks and software systems.
• Follow and maintain

  lab hygiene, safety protocols, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

• Assist in equipment calibration, reagent preparation, and overall lab maintenance.
• Coordinate with production and QA teams for sample collection and reporting of deviations.

• Strong foundation in basic chemistry and analytical techniques.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a factory/lab setting.
• Good observation, attention to detail, and data recording ability.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word) for documentation.
• Ability to follow instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and adaptable to working in a plant/lab environment.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Chemistry
• OR Diploma in Food Technology / Chemical Engineering
• OR B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
