This includes planning purchases, sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, maintaining optimum stock levels, and ensuring efficient storage and issuance of materials. The role requires strong coordination with internal departments and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability in compliance with company policies. Required qualifications and skills · Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field. · 6-10 years of experience in purchase and store management, preferably in manufacturing, export/import industry. · Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. · Proficient in inventory management systems (ERP/SAP/Tally etc.). · Analytical mindset with attention to detail and cost-conscious approach. · Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities.
