Job Title: Junior Business Development Manager – BIM & MEPF Engineering Services

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Department: Business Development / Sales
Experience: 6 months to 1 year
Reports to: Business Development Manager / Head of Sales

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Junior Business Development Manager with 6 months to 1 year of experience in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting) engineering services. This role will support lead generation, client engagement, and proposal development to drive business growth in both domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation & Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities in AEC sectors (Architecture, Engineering, Construction).
  • Generate and qualify leads through platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, and other industry channels.

Client Communication & Coordination:

  • Engage with prospective clients via email, phone calls, and virtual meetings.
  • Schedule and assist in client presentations and follow-ups.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business.

Proposal & Documentation Support:

  • Prepare and customize sales proposals, marketing decks, and capability presentations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to scope work and support RFP/RFQ responses.

CRM & Reporting:

  • Maintain and update client databases using CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot).
  • Track and report sales activities and lead conversion progress to management.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with technical and design teams to understand project offerings.
  • Support the marketing team in developing campaigns and promotional material.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or Business Administration.
  • 6 months to 1 year of business development or sales experience in BIM and/or MEPF engineering services.
  • Basic understanding of BIM tools like Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with CRM and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Prior experience dealing with clients in international markets (US, UK, Middle East).
  • Knowledge of project bidding on freelance platforms (Upwork, Freelancer).
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹51,731.50 per month
