Role & Responsibilities

• Actively monitor portfolio companies including financial and operating performance, and provide strategic value-add
• Prepare, review and periodically update key performance indicator (KPIs) dashboards for existing portfolio companies and potential opportunities. These dashboards are shared with the investment team and portfolio companies
• Assist the investment team with building financial models, drafting LP decks and conducting limited financial due diligence of potential opportunities
• Support deal execution through creation of investor materials
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis for portfolio companies
• Act as the central point of contact for portfolio companies on all KPI related requests

Role Requirements

• Team player with an ability to work effectively in small groups
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication
• Disciplined and data-driven in approach to business decisions, with strong attention to detail
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to execute from ideation to implementation with limited direction

Background

• Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant, preferably cleared all three levels in the first attempt

  or

  MBA
• 3-5 years of relevant post qualification work experience in VC platforms, consumer brands, investment banks and/or Big 4 and/or corporate finance roles
• Good understanding of corporate finance and experience in dealing with large data sets
• Proficiency with Shopify and Google analytics is a plus
