About the Role

We are seeking passionate and motivated Junior Android Developers to join our engineering team working on next-generation mobile applications for UAV/drone operations and real-time mission control. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced, user-friendly tools that interface with aerial platforms and deliver critical data to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

 • Develop, test, and maintain Android applications that enable real-time monitoring and control of connected hardware systems (e.g., drones, IoT devices, or similar).

 • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver a seamless user experience.

 • Integrate and visualize live telemetry, maps, and sensor data using modern Android frameworks and APIs.

 • Implement communication protocols (e.g., MAVLink, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) to interact with external devices and onboard systems.

 • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and agile development processes.

 • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and user-reported problems.

 • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Android development and embedded systems integration.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

 • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or pursuing final year).

 • Hands-on experience with Android Studio and Kotlin/Java.

 • Familiarity with REST APIs, socket programming, and data parsing (JSON, XML).

 • Basic knowledge of hardware interfacing, embedded devices, or IoT communication is a plus.

 • Exposure to mapping SDKs (e.g., Google Maps, Mapbox) and real-time data visualization preferred.

 • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

 • Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

 • Projects or internships involving drones, robotics, or remote control systems.

 • Experience with cross-platform development (Flutter, React Native) or web technologies.

 • Participation in hackathons, open-source contributions, or relevant personal projects.
