Junior Advocate

Job Title: Junior Advocate / Legal Associate Location: Bodakdev Department: Legal Reporting To: Senior Advocate / Legal Head ⸻ Job Summary: The Junior Advocate will assist the senior legal team in handling legal matters, drafting documents, researching case laws, and coordinating with clients and authorities. The role involves both litigation and non-litigation work, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and supporting the company’s legal operations. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including agreements, contracts, notices, and affidavits. • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents. • Prepare case summaries, briefs, and legal opinions under senior’s guidance. • Attend court hearings, client meetings, and legal proceedings as required. • Coordinate with external lawyers, clients, and government departments. • Maintain and organize legal files and documentation systematically. • Support in compliance, dispute resolution, and property documentation (if applicable). • Stay updated with recent legal developments and advise the team accordingly. ⸻ Requirements: • Education: LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university. • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in legal practice or corporate legal department. • Skills: • Strong drafting and communication skills. • Knowledge of civil, criminal, and corporate laws. • Good research and analytical ability. • Proficiency in MS Office and legal research databases. • Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines. ⸻ Personal Attributes: • High integrity and confidentiality. • Attention to detail and accuracy. • Good interpersonal and coordination skills. • Proactive and willing to learn.
