Job Description

Role Overview: As a Junior Accountant at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day accounting and HR-related tasks. Your responsibilities will include maintaining financial transactions, preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, assisting with statutory compliance filings, and coordinating with internal and external teams. Additionally, you will provide HR support by maintaining employee records, assisting in recruitment tasks, and supporting employee engagement activities. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain day-to-day financial transactions, including data entry, ledger postings, etc. - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Reconcile bank statements. - Support in preparing GST Invoices, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings. - Maintain documentation for audits and assist auditors as required. - Coordinate with mutual fund companies, insurance firms, and internal teams for brokerage and other legal formalities. - Assist in preparation of MIS reports related to employee costs, incentives, and reimbursements. - Maintain petty cash register and expense reports. - Track commission income from AMCs and insurance partners and reconcile the same. - Assist in budgeting and forecasting of operational expenses including HR and admin costs. - Liaise with CA or external accountant for audit support and tax-related tasks. - Maintain employee records including attendance, leave balances, and personal files. HR Support Responsibilities: - Maintain employee records including attendance, leave balances, and personal files. - Assist in recruitment tasks such as scheduling interviews, collecting documents, and onboarding. - Draft and issue HR-related letters such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and experience certificates. - Maintain statutory compliance records (PF, ESIC, Professional Tax) and assist with filings. - Support employee engagement activities and maintain HR calendars. - Coordinate training schedules and track mandatory certifications (e.g., AMFI, IRDA). Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. - Basic knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar. - Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets. - Understanding of mutual funds, insurance, and investment instruments (preferred). - Good communication and organizational skills. - Attention to detail and willingness to learn.,
