The Accountant will handle core accounting functions, including financial analysis, budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a solid foundation in accounting principles and experience in handling day-to-day financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, including recording day-to-day financial transactions such as sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Assist in preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Assist in preparing and filing TDS, GST returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits and reviews.
Provide financial insights to assist management in decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and
ERP
systems (e.g. Tally).
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP, AS, Ind AS).
Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
