Junior Accountant - GST

Job Summary: Saraf Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail oriented Junior Accountant with strong working knowledge of GST compliance and accounting processes. The role will support day to day accounting operations with a primary focus on GST returns, reconciliations, and statutory compliance across multiple business verticals including catering, EPC, and marine operations. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, and GSTR 2B reconciliation Maintain accurate GST records for inward and outward supplies Perform GST input tax credit reconciliation and follow up on mismatches Ensure compliance with GST laws, rules, and timelines Assist in preparation of GST workings, notices, and responses Maintain purchase, sales, and expense entries in accounting software (Tally) Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for correct GST documentation Support audits by providing GST related data and reports Assist senior accountants and CAs with statutory and internal reporting Maintain proper accounting records and documentation Required Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Commerce or Accounting 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting with strong GST exposure Good working knowledge of GST compliance and return filing Hands on experience with Tally Proficiency in MS Excel for reconciliations and reporting Understanding of basic accounting principles Skills and Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work with deadlines and compliance timelines Good communication and coordination skills Willingness to learn and adapt in a multi business environment
