Job Summary

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram for an Interior Design Fresher/Intern. The role involves supporting the design team in day-to-day tasks such as preparing 2D drawings, assisting in material selection, organizing mood boards, and helping develop design presentations. You will work on active projects, participate in site visits, take measurements, document progress, and coordinate with vendors as required.

You will also contribute to design research, concept development, and ensure that all work aligns with the brand’s design language and project objectives. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about interior design, with basic proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Support:

   Assist in developing design concepts, layouts, and mood boards under the guidance of senior designers.

• 2D Drawings:

   Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings, space plans, and technical layouts as required.

• Material Research & Selection:

   Support in sourcing materials, finishes, fabrics, and vendor samples while maintaining an organized material library.

• Presentation Preparation:

   Create clean, professional presentations using PowerPoint/Canva for client meetings and internal reviews.

• Site Visits:

   Participate in regular site visits to take measurements, document progress, and assist in ensuring design accuracy during execution.

• Client & Vendor Coordination:

   Assist in communicating design details, following up on samples, and coordinating with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.

• Project Documentation:

   Maintain project files, BOQs, design notes, and revision logs to ensure smooth workflow and team alignment.

• Trend & Product Research:

   Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, furnishings, and interior design innovations.

• Quality Checks:

   Support the team in reviewing on-site work to ensure it aligns with design standards and specifications.

• Team Collaboration:

   Work closely with the design and execution teams, contributing actively with ideas, organization, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong foundation in Interior Design principles

  , including space planning, materials, and basic technical detailing.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

   for 2D drawings, measurements, and layout planning (mandatory).
• Basic knowledge of

  software like PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva

   for presentations and documentation.

• Good communication skills

  , both verbal and written, for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to create clean and organized

  design presentations, mood boards, and material boards

  .
• Strong

  organizational and time management skills

   with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to participate in

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design
